Welcome one and all to the Pixie Led EMP meme where players can advertise characters they are considering bringing to the game and try and entice potential castmates.

A few things to note:

• The Test Drive Meme is dropping tomorrow, the 15th.
• Invitations are required to reserve and apply. Those will be opening on the 18th, closing on the 21st.
• Reservations open on the 20th and close on the 23rd.
• Applications open on the 22nd and close on the 27th.

• Considers himself a master gamer tyvm with a heavy preference for rpgs and first person shooters. (just don't ask why he's so good. it involves cloning and angst)


• Prom loves music to the point of making up his own songs, humming under his breath and singing parts of random songs when he gets bored. Which happens a lot. #sorrynotsorry


• He's a sucker for cute things especially Chocobos, big yellow horse-bird, and Dogs. Possibly because he looks like a Chocobo and acts like a puppy.

Plans for This Character:

Besides exploring the setting? I want to have Prompto make some new connections, tinker with fantastical tech (he's a sucker for photography) and mostly see how he develops away from his own canon. I'm flying by my seat for any other plans.

Oooh I love that story! I think there was a movie based on it back in the 90s. BUT YES Prompto is gonna be a not-so-sneaky shutterbug. Proooobably annoy a few people but hey if they happen to be in His Epic Photo Spot that's not his fault. (～￣▽￣)～

Hello there! Regis mun here. As Regis is coming from Episode Ardyn, Prompto hasn't been "born" yet so he has no idea who he is. Would you like them to run into each other anyway or would you like distance so Prompto can develop more away from canon? I thought I would ask since I see what your plans for him are. I'm open to either option.

Also, his top level at the TDM broke my heart. Poor chocoboy. :-(

Well you just had to break my heart with that icon! Regis is the bestest dad. :(

I definitely phrased my plans oddly there but I meant more removing him from the actual setting of the game itself and not so much the people. So yeah, bring on the Regis and Prompto interactions!

Obviously he won't know Prompto but do you have a preference for if you'd like Prompto to make the connection of who Regis is or not? I can play him pretty oblivious if you prefer to draw it out. He WILL become an awkward mess once he realizes he's talking to the King.

And no worries! Honestly, I was asking out of an abundance of caution as I didn't want to accidentally step on any plans you had. As for me, please feel free to have Prompto put things together as fast or as slow as you would like. In the other game I had Regis in from this canon point, we actually had a Noctis playing "Who me? I'm just some kid from Eos. Certainly not your son" for a while and it was a great time, so I'm very flexible.

I was actually thinking of having Regis respond to Prom's GEIS prompt, because what a great friend! Who isn't his son that hasn't been born yet. Nope, not at all.

I accept your offering of Outtake. You are forgiven for the sads. Also that Noctis&Regis bit sounds hilarious! How'd Regis finally take it when he found out about Noct?

Regis was super excited, embarrassingly so. Think awestruck young dad had Regis actually be able to BE a normal awestruck young dad. He was also very proud because the thing that led to Regis eventually putting 2 and 2 together was Noctis rescuing him after he pushed himself into stasis and unconsciousness trying to use barrier/Wall magic to protect the town they were in from attackers. Regis waking up to Noctis having fallen asleep at his bedside was also a bit of a tip off, though Regis, fool that he is sometimes, blew it off as a tired citizen being concerned for his king.

I suppose he wasn't too far off there. Noctis IS a citizen of Lucis and he WAS tired from using the dregs of his own magic energy to stabilize his father's magic levels. LOL!

That sounds adorable! Please tell me what followed was awesome father/son times for all their evil canon lacked. I'm sad we don't get to see more of those 2's relationship in the FFXV universe. Since Regis' Royal arm is called Sword of the Father he had to have been either a good dad to Noctis or to Lucis itself. Idk the royal arms naming structures are weird.

There were so many awesome father/son times. In fact, a big part of the reason I never got Regis canon updated to the end of FFXV was because I was having so much fun letting them be father and son. The game kind of encouraged it as well since it was an affection/slice of life game with a slow moving more serious plot going on below the surface. There was plenty of time for them to talk, go fishing, and do all those things they missed out on.

Of course, things were kind of awkward for Noctis at the beginning because dad was suddenly young and not old, alive and not dead, and showering him with the attention he had wanted so much growing up. And there was also the fact that for a time dad didn't know mom died shortly after Noctis was born and Noctis did NOT want to be the one to tell him.

One of my favorite times they had happened when the player who was playing Somnus dropped. He'd earned quite a few points for activity but never spent them. On the way out, his player spent all those points so he could regain the Regalia and then gift it to Noctis. One of the first things Noctis did was go pick up dad so they could drive and reminisce together. :-D

As for his title and the name of his sword, I tend to believe it's both! He cared so much for Noctis and loved Lucis as well.

I hope everybody had popcorn for those adventures. At least we don't have to worry about any impromptu road trips in this place but I can't wait to see what chaos Regis gets up to.
