Once the man's finished mutilating his flowers--and Regis has to admit, there's something satisfying in watching a person grind the stupid things to dust--Regis comes a few steps closer.

Regis pauses for a moment, uncertain if he should ask, but his better nature eventually wins out, "My name's Reggie. Forgive me if this is intruding, but I didn't see what you did. Will you be all right?"
