Unlike his sister, there was one person out there who would always be there for him. The weight of Astronema's hand now free from his throat, the rush of oxygen and the pain coming from, well, everywhere, snapped him back into lucidity.
'Don't try and pull it out.' But Andros had to go after her Zhane! Part of Andros completely understood now that Astronema did not want to talk things out with him. But the other part of him wanted to pull out the boomerang, press number 3 on his morpher and stumble over to wherever she had teleported to in order to keep trying. And he knew to trust Zhane. Absolutely. Implicitly. With everything. So, he didn't pull it out. He didn't go with any of the instincts roaring in him to do something, and let the one person he trusted with his life over and over and over again take over.
Well, there was one thing he could do. The irony was...not lost on him. Andros reached over, it might have taken him a try or two to get his arms to work again, and pressed the button on his communicator. There. At least Zhane could have some help.
"You know, I don't think Karone wants to talk it out."
