Her life is all - back alleys and warehouses, late nights in libraries and early mornings at city hall. She can understand crime and corruption and knows how to tear it down. She's seen the news stories about aliens and magic. But to find herself caught up in it is going to take some...adjustment.

It's not a perfect comparison because it's just...her finger and a plate. But it's better than nothing.] And California is all the way over here, on the west coast.
