It's strange, finding herself here rather than where she'd planned to go. Though she's still cross at Paradox and has every intention of making him pay for his attempt to get one of her people to assassinate her, the novelty of this place is enough of a change to subdue her desire for revenge. For now. Seeing so many flowers blooming brightly around her and breathing in their lovely fragrance is a new experience - far from the life she's led in the Void.
She's a little more cautious about the food, waiting and watching people take it in, and observing them to see its effects. Poison can be slow acting, and she's only recently survived an assassination attempt.
Still, it does look tasty.
"Awfully thoughtful of our captors," she remarks to the nearest person. "The last time I was sent to a strange place, I didn't arrive with flowers and a buffet waiting for me."
Chance at a Dance
Watching from the sidelines, she'd debated as to whether she wanted to join in or not. She's never really learned how to dance, after all. But perhaps it's not something where any lessons are needed, so long as one enjoys oneself.
It's finally when something lively and upbeat begins playing that she glances over at the person next to her. "Fancy a dance? I can't promise that I'll be any good at it, but it looks fun."
Flower Power
Cassandra's rather pleased with the pale yellow carnation corsage secured daintily around her slim wrist, and takes a moment to admire it. She's rather doubtful that the Fae will truly be able to contain her in the long term, but there's no harm in enjoying her stay for a little while.
It's only when the vision kicks in that she's even mildly alarmed. She finds herself with her hands in some strange device, surging with power that she can practically feel even through the vision.
"How very odd," she remarks. What was that? And unfortunately for her, she's not the only one who got hit with that brief vision.
