Their height difference is humorous and Aerith has to tilt back her head to see his face. It's worth the effort in her book, especially when he smiles. She can understand why Zack was so attached to him!

Hopefully Angeal's missing student turns up eventually. She will do what she must to see the two reconciled - though she doubts Zack holds any hatred in his heart for Angeal. She certainly doesn't.

"Angeal, I..." she follows his guidance, taking gentle steps, aware of where her feet land too, "I tried to look after him. He...had to help others. He wasn't the sort of man who could see someone suffering and do nothing. He gave his life rescuing a friend and that friend...found me. He didn't know our connection and neither did I at the time. But he was so like Zack that I knew I had to keep him close."

Her point, however, is...

"I'm sorry for not going with Zack. I might have slowed him down, but I would have rather been with him than in a broken church."
