Take your time, [S'rei grunts, and though he sounds strained he does mean it. It's just that whether the creature understands them or whether it's just tired of being stepped on, its struggles have started to take on a desperate, creative edge. Clawed fingers find the chinks in his armor and try to dig in any time he stays still within reach, so keeping the beast down has become less of an oppressive force and more of a dance. If only the lance was plain iron...nothing's easy in this world.
