Drake quickly puts a fingertip against the skin closest to that spot, numbing the nerves in there almost as quickly as the pain had spiked. "Sorry about that. I'm... distracted by the vines."

They're trying to creep back up to Lucien's feet.

"The energy I'm wrapping around them will keep the bones splinted until they can heal."

Some of that energy is Lucien's, because that's how Healing works. Not all of it, though. Most of it is Drake's.

"I'm going to move you," he warns, after splinting that last fragment into place. "I'm sorry, we're not done just yet, but I will numb the pain as I can."

Being moved in this state isn't great, after all! But neither is the way the vines are starting to come in from both walls of the passage they're in. He's stabilized, so moving him is possible, if painful.

Drake's careful when he slides his arms under Lucien, rising to his feet with a smooth grace that comes from decades of practice at that very maneuver... and a great deal of strength. It's better than lunging upwards and jarring his patient around, however.

He numbs the entire area as much as he can under the circumstances, then pulls his Gift back so that his eyes can see the physical world better. Time to move.
