"I think that breaks us even, then," Katniss says, giving her a smile. Eponine reminds her of the proud people in the Seam, the people who don't want charity, and she's more than happy to trade information for clothes and shoes. It'll take a couple trades, she thinks, but getting a dress shouldn't be too hard. The boots are even easier - she can hunt the rabbits herself. She sticks out her hand for a handshake.
