It might have been a boring conversation for some but Kelson knew how important boring conversations were. He'd been brought to court at his father's side since he was able to sit up unaided. "I suppose it's similar enough to planning for a typical winter in Gwynedd. I imagine you have to be a bit more careful. Do you have any others you might trade with if your stores run low? Or is the entire area under snow and ice?" Kelson couldn't imagine it still.

"Our winters are not so long of course, but we have to plan for the flooding that happens every spring. It makes various parts of the kingdoms and boundaries impossible to traverse on foot, at least on the Gwynedd side and too long to get to by sea. It leaves us periodically open should others care to take advantage." Each had their advantages and disadvantages.
