She considers this for a moment. "No. It wasn't something that people shared when I was born either." It's still fairly different from the timeline that she assumes Alicent is from. Especially if she is usually addressed as Lady Alicent. Still, girls weren't really supposed to fight and they weren't really overly encouraged to be all that independent. "But I think it's best to be able to." She's glad she can fight and protect herself and others now. She is genuine about her insistence on friendship. Especially when she currently has no one from home. "I have some back home, but...I haven't seen anyone here. Maybe it's for the best that they aren't trapped here with me." Even if she feels the loss of them so strongly.

She wants to believe that Pluto would destroy everything if he was here, but if she can be taken...if her dad could be, then he might not have the same control. She's not sure what would happen.

Hazel offers Alicent a smile. "We will be," she agrees. They can at least be allies and work together against the fae. As for her question? "No. Not very much. I grew up..." A beat. "Well, I knew more about them after I was..." She's not sure she wants to say after I was brought back from the Underworld, so she settles with a correction. "Later on in life, I learned about the gods. We have nature spirits like Dryads and Naiads. Things like that. But not the fae."
