Not in so many words. Instead, she was amused by my attempt, told me that she liked what she'd seen of me so far, and from that point on, she claimed me for her own court. I can't speak for all of the other rulers, but the Duchess only appeared to respect me more for it. Enough so, that we were able to make another deal later, to nullify another ruler's powers.
