The deep bow, the apology, the toast all combine to make Sahar quite like this one. Polite and knows his place, two good qualities in any Adopted, and ones that most of this riffraff severely lacks. Her eyebrows also fly up to her forehead, amusement doing a slightly poor job of hiding her actual shock. With a chuckle, she recovers. "Quite the toast," she says as she preens and takes a sip from her glass.

A beat goes by and Sahar realizes she owes more of an explanation than that unless she wants to spark a whole new crop of people curious about that little problem. "She's fine. She was released once she recovered from the fight and we realized there was no longer a threat." Ugh, no, damn it, he probably does actually need more information than that, too. "She was charmed by someone to attack; normally we get on quite well with the local beasts."
