Contemplating each title, Alicent found that none were familiar, but that surprised her very little in this place where it seemed there was hardly anything she recognised. All that mattered to her, truthfully, was that she wasn't alone in this terrible maze, and whether or not a knight was similar enough to a Centurion mattered remarkably little in the end. "Lady Alicent," she offered, testing the lie on her tongue. It had been true, once, so it wasn't too terrible a lie, she thought. "Thank you for your assistance, it's—" Alicent found herself distracted by the sound of crying again, and by a strange need to investigate. Shaking her head, she finished her sentence, if a bit belatedly. "Greatly appreciated."
That Hazel had experience with such things was a relief, one that washed over Alicent like a wave. "I agree," she replied, almost a bit too quickly. "I don't know that I have a desire to get lost again." Alicent tried to keep herself calm despite her rising anxiety. "I shall follow your lead, I think."
